There is much more to production support than a phone number for end-users to call, and a person to pick up. A mature support organization can provide a much wider variety of services. A production support team may include developers, system engineers and database administrators and will be responsible for receiving incidents and requests from end-users, analyzing them and either responding to the end-user with a solution or escalating it to the other IT teams. The Production Support wing of I&I follows industry best practices to fit its unique Production Support Model. They assist us in optimizing the IT service delivery. We use specific tools to monitor site response time, schedule jobs, fix codes, for portal documentation, and for version control.
